WELCOME HOME TO THE COMMUNITY OF NOSARA
La Joya de Esperanza is nestled near the spectacular beauty of Nosara Beach on the Pacific coast of the Nicoya Peninsula, in the historic and picturesque Guanacaste region of Costa Rica. The developers' master-plan for La Joya de Esperanza's Hacienda-style Villas is in perfect harmony with the Nosara community's long-term philosophy of harmony with nature. Known for it's natural splendor, it's no wonder the area is experiencing tremendous recognition as one of the fastest appreciating areas for Costa Rica real estate investment.
The community of Nosara has become the gem of the Pacific coastal region. Nosara has attracted the oldest expatriate community in Costa Rica which has reached out to actively manage approximately 3000 acres along the coast, protecting national wildlife in the area. The result is a family-friendly destination with a community feel.
This lush region also boasts the world famous Olive Ridley Turtle nestings and the Ostional National Wildlife Refuge. For the adventurous visitor, there is a wealth of activities awaiting, including hiking, kayaking, catamaran sailing, horseback riding, canopy tours, ATV or Quad tours, bird watching, and much more.
For those seeking holistic health and wellness, the Nosara area features an abundance of healthy lifestyle amenities. Recently, the Nosara Yoga Institute and the Omega Institute have invested millions of dollars in property for exclusive yoga and healing resorts. Additionally, there are numerous massage and physiotherapy clinics in the area.
Nosara is both one of the most accessible destinations in Costa Rica, yet intriguingly remote for those seeking the ambiance of an unspoiled local community. Located just ten minutes away from the local Nosara airport of Miramar, you'll find what many consider the best Costa Rica beach, world-renowned for spectacular surfing, sport fishing, and incredible natural beauty.
Come twilight, Nosara unveils a wide selection of restaurants from sushi to fine Mediterranean and Italian dining. Coupled with live music and salsa dancing at local bars, there's something for everyone seeking action from sunup to sundown.
NOSARA WEATHER
High-Season is December-April, with almost no rain. This is considered summer here, even though we are in the Northern Hemisphere, at about 9 degrees north of the Equator. Temperatures average in the upper 80s.
In off-season, Nosara is a quiet, tranquil rural agricultural town with a friendly population. Rainy season (also known as Green Season) is a bit misunderstood by most people. Temperatures average in the low 80s. There are really only two months of very heavy rains, September and October. During the remaining months of the off-season, the area experiences only nice cool, short afternoon rains. It is during this period of the year (May-August) that the jungle comes alive with wildlife, and becomes lush and fertile. Butterflies abound, in the height of their breeding season. The fruit trees produce their harvest, the rice fields turn bright green, and the roads develop new potholes. Because there are fewer tourists during this time, many hotels reduce their rates.
